Webb Communications worked with Birra Peroni USA, Barton Beers and Alessi USA, Ltd. to design and develop a national sales incentive web site that reinforces the Peroni USA brand image, provides incentives for distributors and motivates the U.S. sales force. The site features a custom e-commerce component where "Peroni Dollars" can be used for incentive gift purchases on-line. Distributors and sales managers can register and login to a secure on-line catalog of gift products where they redeem their Peroni Dollars for incentive gifts. The system also includes an extensive reporting system to track the activity for companies and individuals using the system.
Secure, online credit card processing is also incorporated allowing users to add value and purchase additional Alessi gift products. An administration system allows management to track all order activities by region, company and individual user. A print design component included designing and custom-printing $100 Peroni Dollar gift certificates with secure passwords and company names, which were to distributed leading sales people and distributors winners nationally.
About Peroni: Peroni is Italy's Number 1 beer maker and the also the Number 1 Italian beer in terms of U.S. sales. The 157-year-old Italian firm was founded in 1846 by Francesco Peroni, son of a pasta maker. Peroni's first brewery was founded in the Lombardy town of Vigevano.
SABMiller Plc, the world's second largest brewer, purchased a majority stake in the family-owned Peroni earlier this year. SABMiller plc is one of the world’s largest brewers and has a brewing presence in over 40 countries across four continents. Outside the USA, SABMiller plc is one of the largest bottlers of Coca-Cola products in the world.
About Barton Beers: Barton is the largest independent (non-brewery owned) beer marketer in the U.S. and its rate of growth continues to set the pace in the industry. The company represents six of the top 25 imported beer brands -- more than any other importer. Barton has continuously outpaced industry growth, selling some 50 million cases nationally.
