Designs and Launches Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Web Site:
New York Webb Communications, www.sitespan.com,
a leading new media development consulting firm serving clients
in the US and international markets, announced today the design
and launch of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce's
new online initiative (www.italchamber.org).
The IACC sought to create a site that will serve as a resource
for business relations between the U.S. and Italian markets. Webb'
s development team has created a site which merges high-end design
with ease of usability and information presentation. Webb worked
closely with the IACC, to create a site that serves as a resource
for business relations between the U.S. and Italy markets and as
a valuable portal for IACC members and the Italy/America business
community as a whole.
Webb sought to develop an online presence that reflects the IACC's
prestigious image and history of success. Webb also developed a
dynamic site content management system that will enable IACC staff
to modify site content, making the site a flexible, powerful marketing
tool that can be updated quickly and easily by non-technical staff.
Other objectives include: promote the benefits of IACC membership
to existing and prospective members; provide a central location
for information about the IACC, its members, activities, and events;
promote member businesses and services to the U.S. and Italy business
communities; enable the IACC to increase its marketing efforts;
enable IACC staff to update site content in-house and reduce the
cost of administering the organization.
The Design & Production Team Webb Communications conceptually
developed and designed the site's architecture, navigational layout,
visuals, and the dynamic site content management system. John Battista
De Santis, VP of Webb Communications and IACC Board of Directors
member, coordinated production between Webb's design and production
team and the IACC staff to complete this project. Team members included
Mr. DeSantis, Creative Director; and Thompson Marzagao, Lead Programmer.
Mr. De Santis is enthusiastic about the site's functionality and
usefulness, and is looking forward to positive feedback from the
end users. "We think the site will be extremely helpful in
promoting the Chamber and reaching the existing and potential membership."
