A Gentleman from Verona in New York, Italy Art & Design Publishing

Are you truly satisfied with the quality, cost and design of printed (or online) work being created for your gallery or your artists? If not, we can help. Our "man from Verona," globe-trotting art printing / production expert Ernest Reyla, will be in New York from May 21 - June 2 and June 28 - July 9, advising galleries, artists, and agents on their upcoming design and print projects. He is now scheduling free consultations with gallery owners / managers and artists' agents to discuss how our International team can help you create high-end publications (as well as online galleries) that appropriately reflect and promote the work being presented, all within an affordable budget.

Ernest (Webb Communications' representative based in Verona) would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with you or your staff to spend 15-30 minutes talking about his experiences with creating international art publications of exceptional quality and the benefits of working with our specialized design, production and printing teams. To arrange for a meeting please e-mail Ernest (ereyla@sitespan.com) or call John De Santis of Webb's NY office (212-564-9582). [More about Ernest]

Producing books, catalogues, or magazines about works of art, fine furniture, or architecture is always a challenge. Most printers and graphic designers lack experience in this niche area, where creative and technical specialization is essential to ensure that the final product is a work of art in itself. In fact, most printers and designers lack the most basic experience necessary to ensure optimum color reproduction or appropriate selection of paper and cover stock, coatings, and processes. Our expertise enables us to problem solve and navigate the most effective course possible, not only to ensure that finished publications fulfill our client's goals, but to produce something that is a genuine pleasure to look at and read.

About Webb Communications: Based in New York, with offices in Barcelona and Verona, Webb Communications' design team has directly created a wide range of high-impact publications, posters and online works for clients such as IA Museum, UNICEF, Scientific American, McGraw Hill (Architectural Record), and The International Olympic Committee. Our online experience spans the creation of aesthetically appealing visual interfaces and the development of essential back-end systems for museums and large institutions, designers, architects, publishers, performers and many European and U.S. businesses.

About Ernest Reyla: As a native Californian living and working in Italy for more than 20 years, Ernest provides U.S. galleries and artists with unparalleled direct access to resources previously available only to European galleries and institutions. Ernest is uniquely experienced in managing the many details associated with high-end printing, pre-press, and distribution for art publications. From his office in Verona (Italy's high-tech graphic center), Ernest has established a long and close working relationship with Europe's leading art printing houses. As a result, he can negotiate the best prices, source work to the most appropriate printer, guide the pre-press and production process every step of the way, and ensure that the finished product is impeccable. Ernest travels frequently throughout Europe and North America, producing work for leading artists and galleries. He also serves as a printing and pre-press consultant for some of the world's largest advertising agencies (managing projects for clients in the U.S., Italy, UK, France, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, and Finland).

Ernest, who travels the globe for Webb, has more than 18 years of international publishing/printing experience. He is the project manager and Webb’s European representative liaison for publishing printing projects sourced in U.S., Italy and Europe. Splitting his time between Italy and New York, Ernest is fluent in Italian and English.

Ernest coordinates and supervises all aspects of projects: from estimate and production through final press approval. His hands-on experience in graphic pre-press, print, binding systems, development of logistic, sales and marketing support, product definition, and technical specifications enables US and European companies to get the highest quality production services.

Ernest has developed projects with clients such as: Ruven Afanador, photographers, Claudio Alessandri, L.E.G.O., Avon-Italy, Champion-Italy, Sara Lee Group-Belgium, Hunterskil Howard Communications-The Netherlands, Egmont Publishers-Denmark, N.P Grey-Denmark, Ogilvy & Mathers-Denmark, BBDO-Denmark, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Playboy, Litosei SpA-Italy, Litopat SpA-Italy, Papergraf SpA-Italy, Articolor SpA-Italy, Grafiche Duegi-Italy, and Kobalt BV Media Services-The Netherlands.
